The Facebook crisis donate button, powered by Facebook users and the Disaster Recovery Network at GlobalGiving, provided relief and recovery support for 270 disasters in 70 countries around the world. GlobalGiving distributed the funds primarily to local nonprofits, including SMEPS, an organization working to reduce the spread of cholera in Yemen.
